He did not identify with any religion or caste he thought that the whole world and its being are created by one God and hence there is no distinction between beings, he treated all equally.
- Promoting equality and one belief he propagated that devotion to the supreme is essential to attain spiritual growth in life, he promoted Bhakti Marg. With his actions, he depicted that all should be treated with love compassion, and oneness keeping in mind that the Lord created all, and everything happening is his plan the destiny would work its way one needs to be devoted to god and walk on the right path.

On this, he stated that one should always acquire only according to his needs and not more than that. This life would end one day so one should be away from material and worldly attachments hence he lived life like a Fakir without any bonds in his life.
- It is stated in Saibaba Stuti that he helped every being that came to him and there was a ‘Dhuni’ the sacred fire that would burn continuously in his resident place. This was said to be connected with the Karma of people living in Shirdi it is belied that the fire burned people’s sins freeing them from karma. Saibaba’s opinion was that Karma is a complex concept to comprehend, even so, one should act truthfully and righteously and accumulate good deeds, and be liberated from the cycle of birth and death. He was of the opinion that every person has a purpose to be born and that is tied to his karma, and to attain Moksha one must find life purpose and work accordingly. One needs knee understanding and devotion to understand Saibaba’s teaching.
There are many such small big things he used to say to his visitors which had an immense amount of meaning and guidance behind it. Even when a devotee is singing Sai Bhajan or Sai Mantra he would remember the teaching of positive speech. He promoted the practice of good talks and words have powers and they can affect life.
